Excavator hydraulic oil usually overheats because heat is being created faster than the cooling system can remove it. Cause 1: Blocked Cooling Stack

Excavators work in dust, clay, demolition debris, seeds, leaves, and oil mist. The cooling stack often includes the radiator, hydraulic oil cooler, intercooler, and A/C condenser. Dirt can pack between the cores, not only on the visible front face.

  • Dust mat between radiator and hydraulic oil cooler
